Ville des Arts
Every two years, Waldenburg becomes a village art mecca – thanks to the initiative of two artists and the cultural hospitality of the historic little town situated near Basel.
Sibylla Dreiszigacker and Pt Whitfield invite you – in 2026, over forty participants will ensure a varied stroll through the freely accessible exhibition in the village. On the third Sunday of each month, the two offer a guided tour; meet at the village hall at 2 pm. Details at villedesarts.ch.

Opening: Saturday, 6 June, 6 pm in the vicarage garden.
Closing event: Saturday, 31 October, 3 pm.

By the way, nearby, between Waldenburg and Solothurn, lies the Sculpture Park of Schonthal Abbey, which I think makes for an interesting combination for a longer art outing.
