Ville des Arts
Every two years, Waldenburg becomes a village art mecca. This is thanks to the initiative of two artists and the cultural hospitality of the historic little town situated near Basel.
Sibylla Dreiszigacker and Pt Whitfield invite you – in 2026, over forty participants will ensure a varied stroll through the freely accessible exhibition in the village. Every third Sunday of the month, the two offer a guided tour; meet at 2 pm at the village hall. Details at villedesarts.ch.
Opening: Saturday, 6 June, 6 pm in the vicarage garden.
Closing event: Saturday, 31 October, 3 pm.

By the way, nearby, between Waldenburg and Solothurn, lies the Sculpture Park of Schonthal Abbey, which I think makes for an interesting combination for a longer art outing.
